Election 2013: Candidate vote totals in alphabetical order, summary data and a note from the Editor.

Editors note : The above and  numbers are total numbers combining the  

Precincts 1 (City Hall) with Precinct 2 (Congressional Church) and absentee ballots mixed  in with in person voting at the polling places.

 They were  made available on Oakland County Elections almost immediately after the polls closed last Tuesday. As a matter of fact as soon as the voting machines was  turned off  the data they contained was transmitted electronically to Oakland County  and posted on the County web site.

This publication while perhaps the last to report on the aggregate numbers, has however endeavored to provide details and  analysis not available elsewhere. Behind every number there is a story that we hope will prompt more residents  to vote in future  City elections. How so ? By  showing how valuable a single vote or even a fraction of a vote can be.
