If you qualify to vote Absentee and have not as yet voted election day, is Saturday 9am to 2pm, All Day Monday, and Yes,Tuesday May 5Th till 8pm.

Here is how it works. if you are a registered voter, you may obtain an absentee voter ballot if you are:
  • age 60 years old or older
  • unable to vote without assistance at the polls
  • expecting to be out of town on election day
  • in jail awaiting arraignment or trial
  • unable to attend the polls due to religious reasons
  • appointed to work as an election inspector in a precinct outside of your precinct of residence.
On Saturday, May 2nd, from 9am till 2pm  you may pick up an absentee ballot  at City hall. You may then vote on the spot or take your ballot home with you for further consideration. If you take your ballot home it must be returned to City Hall before the polls close on  at 8pm Tuesday.

On Sunday  City Hall is closed.

On Monday  you may obtain an absentee ballot at City Hall during normal business hours till 4:30 pm. You must however  vote right then and there at City Hall. You may not take your ballot out of the building.

On Tuesday all voting will be in person  at Precinct 1  or Precinct 2.
