Buckley, Barnett, Schostak, and Walsh win seats on Township Board.

 David Buckley was overwhelming at both the precinct and with absentee voters.   His  2125  precinct votes was unequalled.the best record vote. Maybe he should have run for supervisor.  Michael Schostak had almost perfect balance between his absentee and  precinct which is good for style points.  Dani Walsh was  a heavy hitter at the polls indicating a good election day get out  the vote organization.
Here you begin to see a pattern.  Incumbents do their best with the presumed older stay at home voter who  might have voted months  earlier. when Leo was the gold standard.

Candidates Axt,  and Brannock did well at the precinct level but came up approximately 300 votes short with the  write ins.That  is traditionally a rookie mistake which should  not discourage them from  future campaigns.

Candidates Hockman and  incumbent Khederain also achieved the perfect balance championed by skating coaches and Political advisors but too few votes to make it matter. later was hampered by an illness in the family. the former by being new. Both ran  the "Together we can keep good going ! " Leo Savoie inspired slate.
If the not always loyal opposition needed a moniker Downtown Magazine had plenty. The Publisher of Downtown in edition before the Election wrote, "(Dan) Devine has managed to assemble a  
assembled a clown car of candidates for all the offices in August GOP Primary."

That by itself  accomplished on short notice in the dog days of summer by a much maligned leader is rather impressive and the election returns indicate that.
